49 days old Eurasian Griffon Vulture chick

Oh dear, four days not being in the Zoo of Duisburg and it's almost hard to recognize the Eurasian Griffon Vulture chick now! What a wonderful young vulture, strong beak, fluffy plumage and lovely charisma!
So tired...
Stretching after the afternoon nap.
By now the crop is still empty... just wait a minute... carrion go!
With such a big chick inside the nest has do be enlarged all the time.
Like spotlights the setting sun illuminated the chick as benfits a wonderful vulture... ;-)
Time for dinner... or just a late afternoon carcass snack?
Unbelievable, by now the chick nearly has the same size like vulture-mommy.
Now the crop looks nurtured!
Perfect beauty!
Gnawing at vulture-mommys neck.
Very impressive neck length. And so funny giant feet... Sweetheart!!!
Look at me, I will fledge very soon! Gorgeous wingspan!
