Today I visited the Zoo of Frankfurt for the first time, 250 km from here. Five vultures were waiting for me: Two Egyptian Vultures, two King Vultures and one three and a half year old Bearded Vulture with still grey and brown feathers (instead of white and red).

The enclosure is looking very nice with it's rocks, nesting hole, waterfall, swimming pool,... but it seemed to be to small for such a giant bird!!!
Carefully collecting all pieces of carcass and bringing it to a feeding plateau next to the waterfall.
After arranging the food: Carrion go!
