I really got impressed by the cute "carrion slurp". Hard to believe how much carrion-mash the baby vulture was able to eat... When finishing meal it's crop was bigger than itself ;-)

9 days old Eurasian Griffon Vulture chick
Today the Eurasian Griffon Vulture chick of the Zoo of Duisburg got 9 days old and is growing very fast. No surprise the vulture-parents proudly adore their sweetheart!!! I really got impressed by the cute "carrion slurp". Hard to believe how much carrion-mash the baby vulture was able to eat... When finishing meal it's crop was bigger than itself ;-)
